Un point, une March Madness: A vos brackets!
On y est! Jeudi, avec le first four, commence le tournoi universitaire national le plus attendu. Alors qui va gagner? Je n'en sais rien mais parlons-en!
L'affiche du first four
L'affiche à ne pas manquer dans le first four pour moi ce n'est pas UCLA Michigan State, c'est Wichita State contre Drake.
Drake tout d'abord, est l'une des meilleures attaques du pays. Qui plus est les Bulldogs ont du composer avec des absences, mais vont récupérer leur ailier senior ShanQuan Hemphill, meilleur scoreur avant sa blessure et qui ne devrait pas faire de mal à une offense déjà efficace.
Wichita State a réussi une belle saison AAC, non loin derrière l'ogre que représente Houston. Les Shockers ont des arguments, notamment en dehors de la raquette.
Attention, si Drake est plus faible à 3 pts, ils limitent également leurs adversaires dans cette zone sur la saison à 30-31%!
Et pour rajouter du piment, il faut se rappeler que ces deux équipes s'affrontaient en Missouri Valley Conference il n'y a pas si longtemps.

Les conférences se sont terminées, avec des surprises lors de la champ week. On sait que chaque fin de saison offre son lot de prix en conférence, puis au niveau national, voici donc les awards concernant les Power 6 conferences:

Bon et maintenant, les brackets!
Comme chaque année, des millions d'entre nous vont remplir des milliards de brackets, en espérant qu'un puisse nous faire miroiter pendant quelques tours, le fameux bracket parfait!
Que ce soit en tentant des upsets partout, ou au contraire jouant la carte de la logique, chacun a sa méthode, ses habitudes, ses superstitions... A la fin tout le monde ou presque finit frustré. En attendant je vous partage un de mes brackets (on sait jamais... enfin on sait que c'est mort, soyons sérieux!), et je vous souhaite une très bonne March Madness!
